Join us at Skip the Garnish: A Local Riff on “Salad", a pre-show connectivity experiment between by company Art in Praxis and Woolly Mammoth Theatre.

Why? Because at Art in Praxis humor validates experiences, helps us to think more flexibly, reframes situations, illuminates the ways we live in the world politically, and helps us critique systemic oppression and all the isms. Yaaaas!

This is a FREE pre-show comedy happy hour inspired by ‘Women Laughing Alone With Salad’, the current production at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company. Picture this...Emcee Shelly Bell and a fierce line-up including: Dana Fleitman, Elahe Izadi, Sarah Lawson, Curt Mariah, Chelsea Shorte, and Anu Yadav poking fun at the phenomena of "...thousands of stock images of women, mostly white, clutching forks with lettuce or other vegetables on them, laughing hysterically". This will be hilarious.  Bring a friend and stay for the play that starts at 8.

Happy hour and beats from 6pm until the show starts at 6:30pm! Fri. 9/25. Space is limited. RSVP: https://ticketing.woollymammoth.net/single/eventDetail.aspx?p=3606
